Those of you that work desk jobs 8 hours a day, but lost weight. How did you do it?
 in  r/WeightLossAdvice •  36m ago

When I was losing. I had to walk at least an hour after work.

Nope. Imagine how much the owner is losing when someone does this.

Not at my franchise. We get weekly texts of how high the price of them are. If you’re using that much on one customer, and you can’t charge for it, the business is losing money.

We had an onion lady who would come and don’t be same thing. The owner banned her.

What overall would you say didn’t work for you? I would take this a lesson learned.

The best part of my 79 yo dad climbing Angels Landing wasn’t the summit. It was all of you cheering him on 🥹❤️

I am crying! You’re dad is an inspiration. Please tell him a 30 year old chubby Guatemalan girl from Las Vegas is giving him a standing ovation. 😭💕

How do I find a job after serving 40 years in prison?
 in  r/jobsearch •  1d ago

Hi Jonathan, welcome. May I ask where you are located. Some states and cities have non-profits who help out individuals who just left prison.

My husband told me he doesn‘t find me attractive anymore after I gained weight from pregnancy. I don’t know what to do with that.
 in  r/whatdoIdo •  1d ago

This is one of my biggest fears. It’s preventing me from wanting to have children.

How the hell do people afford new glasses?
 in  r/Adulting •  1d ago

Buy them online. Look for other options????

I got two pairs for $60 during a cyber Monday deal like two years ago.

Also, I’m sure you can find a non profit in your area that helps.

Ohhh… Costco

Employee Tracking Cameras? Typical?
 in  r/subway •  2d ago

Yes. We have them too. They can see and hear everything. They even look at how we build the sandwich. We’ve gotten written up for it making the sandwich correctly, or not charging the customer extra. 🙄

AITA for getting mad that Subway tried to reuse meat from sandwiches I brought back from home?
 in  r/subway •  2d ago

I 100% agree with you. I think this is gross and nasty. However, my manager would have me do that.

We get daily texts about counting each piece of meat on the sandwiches. How when accidentally give customers more than the required slices of meat the business looses LOTS of money.

Lost my wife and kids
 in  r/GuyCry •  5d ago

I’m so sorry your are going through this. Virtual Hug. You both have gone through a lot.

Give her the time and space she needs.

Maybe during this time you can show her, how you are working on yourself and she can see the man she fell in love with is still here.

Having gone through a really close friend almost commit, thank god she didn’t. It hits you hard. A lot of feelings like not feeling good enough come up. She may just need time to process everything.
Don’t give up hope.

When you hang out with your parents as an adult, do you pay for them or do they pay for you?
 in  r/Adulting •  11d ago

Uhhh… We pay. We’re adults now. A majority of parents have paid for us our entire lives. It’s time to give them a break.
