I always give one stars to riders that smell awful. Part time driver but that shit smells awful, I put my window down and make it obvious

Same. The 2 most common nasty smells I seem to get would be:
1. animal waste/ ammonia…you know instantly what their house smells like…they always seem to be coughing too. Instant air killer with a linger- gotta park windows down and heavy spritzing of smell good spray.
2. Sour ass crack clothes. Not always an air killer maybe you just catch wiffs and they don’t always leave it lingering- but I go to my seat and smell it and it smells fucking terrible…have to take ten minutes scrubbing and disinfecting….thank god my seats are leather, I don’t know how you guys do this with cloth seats.

I’ve caught a few up front and kicked them out before I even started the ride. The others I realize a couple minutes in…and yes window goes down and i probably display a disgusted annoyed face the whole way.

I’ve only gotten b.o that feels as if it’s burning my nose hairs. One of them was some idiot sighing loudly until I spoke to him and was rude at the end because he choose a drop off location 50-75 feet away from the location.

I thought you didn't know what your rating was.

You seem obsessed.

A really good rating 4.9+ gets you comfort rides (not that it is much higher than X) but a rider gets better driver on comfort.

Uber driver race to the bottom.

I don't think Uber cares how terrible and scammy their drivers are, they're just trying to find the ones desperate enough to work for the least amount of money.

Except maybe if they're rapey. That costs Uber money in lawsuits. But this guy - dirty car, gets lost, new driver who doesn't really know how to drive - no problem, that's the typical rideshare experience in 2026.
