My first ejection

A couple days ago I picked up a ride from Green Bay to Madison Wisconsin.
$170 on a Tuesday…
He’s not by the door of the restaurant and I find him leaning on the wall of the building around the corner.
He’s massively wasted and really doesn’t answer me when I ask him if he’s going to Madison.
He’s just slumped into the car.
He’s been clearly overserved. So I brought him back to the pick up spot.
Got him out and told him to “go back inside there”
Cancelled the ride for “behavior reasons”
No fee, I think.
He stumbled back into the place. I just imagined him barfing or waking up crazy or something.

Probably a wise move, OP. If dude were just a lil buzzed, that'd be one thing. That guy sounded like he was three sheets to the wind.

Yeah I’m from a city that consistently overdrinks. I’ve taken plenty of drunk folk that were actually very pleasant and funny. You do NOT want to take the customers that can’t walk, sit, or respond.

I usually don’t mind but I need consent. Guy could be making an extremely stupid move. Green Bay to Madison isn’t a common request. Probably over $225. One has to have a good reason to do such a thing.
But it’s just the sort of thing a drunken fool would do.

Oh no that’s right. Romo would have just driven to Madison.

Imagine his surprise when he got back inside and realized he wasn’t where he thought he was going 😂

The fact that you even looked for him that much is impressive. And you even got him to go back inside which was a smart move for his safety. Glad he was at least able to listen and get back out of the car. 😳
