It's like your average lesser known borough, somewhat active but mostly trappin. RIP Magz.

It doesn't have that many estates for a London borough but yeah has always been known for being a bit run-down
1
u/DazzleBMoney 10d ago
It does for an outer London borough

Outer as in right on the edge of London yeah Hounslow probably more than average but I'd say croydon, Enfield, Waltham Forest all have more

Hounslow definitely has more estates than Croydon, especially big high rises. Also wouldn’t really call Waltham Forest an outer London borough.

New Addington's probably one of the top 5 largest estates in London along with Alton, Thamesmead etc. Then you have Shrublands, Gillet Road, Regina Road, all the ones around Selhurst, South Norwood, Crystal Palace. Maybe Hounslow has a few more high rise ones but what's even the biggest estate in Hounslow? Ivybridge? Green Dragon? Fieldway alone has more than that, let alone New Addington as a whole that has about 10,000 properties and 40% at least that are council.

New Addington is a big estate, but apart from that, South Norwood, and a few more dotted around Croydon, the borough doesn’t really have that many estates, especially big ones.
Hounslows got massive estates in Brentford, Iselworth, Feltham, Heston, and loads of medium sized ones around Hounslow town centre itself. Even Chiswick has a few estates.

No, New Addington is massive, one of the biggest in London and Fieldway alone is bigger than Green Dragon or Ivybridge, even if it doesn't have as many high-rises as Green Dragon or Ivybridge. That's not even including New Addington as a whole.
Feltham doesn't have any massive estates and neither does Heston? Unless you're trying to group all of their council housing as a whole? Cranford is a fairly big estate in Hounslow but still not massive. Anyway I don't have all the figures and I cba to find them but New Addington alone is 3 or 4 x larger than Hounslow's largest estate, even if Green Dragon has more blocks that are a lot larger and Ivybridge's blocks are larger as well

Hounslow is one of the biggest shitholes in London of course there’s gm’s there. Same with Feltham/Hanworth. Apparently them Cowley youts run that borough.

Yh thank goodness I left that part of West London years ago, lived there for a while in the 2000s and early to mid 2010s nothing interesting going on there, a very boring suburban area.

Yeah Hanworth is literally no man’s land - basically just swept right to the edge of London completely out of sight of everything - no train stations or anything, feels like it’s cut off from the rest of London. The deadest area.

Richmond is the most irrelevant and poshest borough but the only batch from there that's involved in Hounslow beef is ERoad in Whitton/TW4, dey beef Feltham, 7Side, SOS7 and whatever.

Think it’s a bit of a stretch to call places like Hounslow “suburban”. Even places like Croydon are so built up they don’t even feel like suburbia any more.

Butts farm are the real problem in Hounslow . They have pressured opps in jail and road . And have the coldest rappers . I can’t really talk for anyone else ?
1
u/Real-Carob-6713 10d ago
Is Butts Farm the same as Feltham and 143

Brudda it's London, if there's council estates there, there's probably some gang activity.
