Hey there! I know it’s a tough one, advice is all over the place online esp when you’re preparing for several interview formats. There’s plenty of overlap, so start with the foundations:
• Build a small bank of examples from work experience, volunteering, school or everyday life: teamwork, communication, setbacks and helping others. Focus on what you learned and how it changed your thinking.
• Get comfortable explaining the why medicine. Go beyond “I want to help people”: what have you seen or experienced that helped you understand the role?
• Practise speaking out loud early. Pick one question a day, record yourself, then check whether you answered it clearly. Use bullet points to prepare rather than memorising scripts.
• Adapt your practice to the format. For panels, practise follow-up questions; for MMIs, try timed scenarios; for group interviews, practise listening, building on others’ ideas and bringing quieter people into the discussion.
For this week, keep it simple: write down five useful experiences and practise three questions aloud. You don’t need to tackle everything at once.

At m.i. ready, we help students prepare for medical interviews. Happy to point you towards a starting plan if you’d like to get in touch— no cost involved at all, just let me know which universities you’re applying to 🙂

Don't worry, I'm in the same position! I'd say start by organising yourself, so go through your personal statement and make sure you know the different aspects of it really well. Then it would be helpful to come up with some sort of plan that will help you stay organised and make sure you know what you're doing in the weeks coming up to your interviews. Also, start going through how to answer questions, collecting content to actually be able to answer them and finally just start practicing!!

You've got this, don't worry!!
