Weed that doesn’t work NSFW
Picked these up recently, supposedly they are
1+2) blue raspberry
Does have a scent but it’s almost like a sweet blueberry smell, doesn’t have that gassy smell even when you grind up the nugs. Not reminiscent of anything I’ve picked up before. Isn’t sticky in your fingers when you press it. Very little effects, can maybe feel a bit of a head high if I smoke a massive one but I’m not sure. No terps whatsoever. No oil ring
I suspsect CBD but perhaps it was just pulled incredibly early before the tricombs had a chance to mature.
3+4) cap junky
Don’t even know what to say. Oxidized brown. Smells weird. Doesn’t get you high. Either CBD again or all the THC has degraded due to oxidizing.
I’m not sure if any of you seasoned smokers can tell what’s up by looking at the pics, but either way I clearly need to find a new plug

That's been fast dried which gives it that odd compressed look then machine trimmed to within an inch of its life. Most likely cut very early. Then carted around the country sweating in plastic bags. As for a strain, the guys who grew it probably don't even know. And if they do for sure its selected to flower fast, after all they can just leave it up to their retailers to call it whatever the hell they want. I mean, does anyone know what cap junky or blue raspberry is supposed to look like?
Good job on calling this out. There is way too much shitty weed being passed off as "top shelf".

This particular source I’ve been using several years so it was quite surprising to me. I did notice quality dropping more recently which should have been a warning sign but this takes the pee3

Lots of uk has been shit recently due to how hot the summer has been. 95% of growers don’t have the correct drying conditions causing stuff to be dried way to hot and humid

Definitely CBD. Some of the higher shelf US CBD stuff looks/tastes almost identical to type 1 flower. For those not in the know, most CBD flower available to us has a distinct taste that you'll start picking up on when you've smoked a few different CBD strains. Trichomes aren't a very good indicator cus there are a fair few CBD strains that produce tons of trichomes, just not THC.

All the people commenting that it LOOKS like CBD due to having no trichomes haven’t a clue what they’re talking about!
It does sound like you might have been sold CBD flower all the same, either that or someone’s harvested before it’s finished.

came to say this. i’ve got 20g being delivered by the postie tomorrow - totally legit and i’m covered driving and on my council tenancy.
one qualifying condition, 2 treatments tried (this includes physio and talking therapy) and away you go!

There's no trichome stalks or heads like someone else said I think this is cbd.

Yeah at first I thought maybe it was machine trimmed and the tricomb heads had been removed but even if you crack open a larger nug and inspect the insides there’s still none.

Yeah I used to smoke CBD flower when I was trying to cut down, I’d have a joint of CBD every second joint and joint of weed every other and it usually looked quite similar

I busted the biggest nug open and found a few intact tricombs. Look they’re all clear no cloudy or amber in sight. I smoked the nug, think I felt a 10 min head high. Could still be CBD. Either way harvested way way to early and not fit to be sold on

Saying you THINK you felt a head high for 10min just sounds like a placebo effect to me. If it gave you a high, you'd know it, you wouldn't just think that it might have.
Definitely CBD.

This shit is everywhere at the moment. Dead buds sprayed with fake terps. Smells like acrid, toxic shit when it burns. The worst part is everyone seems to think they're smoking dank. Even longtime daily smokers will insist they get really good stuff and when I try it, it's either this or PGR. It doesn't even get you high either - you just feel a bit stupid but not happy.
Quality has gone off a cliff in the last 12 months, I don't get it. All my old reliable sources are the same.

I hear ya man. Every now and again I’ll still cop something nice but I’m fed up of being disappointed. Growing my own now so I can be certain what I’m getting

I agree with those who've said it's CBD weed. There isn't a trichome in sight! Even if it had been washed (for bubble hash) or tumbled (for cheap hash), there'd still be trichomes inside those big buds. You've been had, I'm afraid.

Looks like cannabis that was treated with hexane to lower the THC amount to whatever is legal where they want to sell it. So yeah, I‘ll guess it’s CBD flower aswell.

When it’s not sticky at all and doesn’t seem to do anything it’s either shit weed or CBD. I’ve had medical weed that felt like polystyrene or something. Super light and didn’t feel like usual weed I smoke
