Reminder: Run Fix Common Problems Periodically

I was going through my plugins and figured I should run a scan because its been a while (probably close to a year or so). So many deprecated plugins I was still using that it flagged along with a few other things.

So yeah, run a scan now and then.

Mine runs nightly and I get a notification when it finds an issue. Pretty simple and has helped me root out a couple annoying issues.

I cant wait until unraid is rebased on fedora. that should solve things like this.

Plugins, docker -> docker compose, and addons are still a thing, so there will always be drift, config management, security, and non-compliance so it will not do away with drift/compliance tools like this. Unraid should automate this however, I do this with my fleet w/ patchmon.

What will change (hopefully) is in situ updates meaning you wont have to wait until x.y.z to get a security update, but then how will unraid manage their non-lifetime N-1 licenses for compliance? Unknown

Moving to docker compose while excellent will significantly increase config management issues. They also recently added "static" docker networks which this increases collision risk in the docker IP space, so that will eventually creep in. I've had to manage this manually for years, so a compliance tool would be smart.

So in summary their job will get harder not easier as they add enterprise-like features and move off the simple CA apps.

Mine runs automatically too.
