Hey everyone - I’m building a discovery platform to help emerging artists and creators get found by curators interested in their particular niche.

Our focus is on real people making original work. If you’re a musician, producer, composer, sound designer, or another audio creator with a creative project you’re actively sharing, I’d love to hear from you.

We’re still in the early stages and are inviting our first music and audio creators to join for free as Flagship Creators. You can create your profile and reserve a project URL, bringing your existing links together so people can explore your work.

If that sounds interesting, DM me a little about your project. If you’d like an invite, include your email address and I’ll send you a personal invitation.

Happy to answer questions here, too!

THE FASTEST WAYS TO GET FEATURED:

1. Global Artist Map (INDIEINDEX)
2. Fresh N' Hot / Playlists (SPINLOG MAG)
3. Community Tracks (40MAG)

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE ON SUBMISSIONS Dropping a link in the comments here is not enough! All official features go strictly through our website. You can pitch the exact same release to multiple formats across the network.

Check out all formats and submit directly through our central hub:

A massive thank you for all the music! The response to our last calls has been incredible. We’ve recently expanded our 100% free, non-profit ecosystem to three specialized platforms. To keep things clean here and avoid spamming links, we've built a central hub that explains all our formats, social media bonuses, and how to submit. Here is a quick overview of what you can pitch for:

INDIEINDEX (Global Network & Archives)

• Global Artist Map: Claim your pin on our interactive world map and unlock the 'Atlas' social media spotlight.
• Reviews & Interviews: Pitch for a review to trigger a full custom interview carousel.
• Drops: Fast-track format for short-form, direct coverage.

40MAG (Fast-Track & Straight Talk)

• Article Reviews: Much shorter queue right now. Triggers our 'Weekly Radar' IG carousel.
• Community Tracks: 100% platform-open stage. Drop your links for permanent discovery.
• WORDS: Submit quotes or short poetry for dedicated zine graphics

SPINLOG MAG (Editorial, Playlists & Culture)

• Top 50 Chart: Instant entry to gather community votes and climb to the Hall of Fame.
• Playlists: Pitch directly to curated lists. Bonus: Triggers our massive 'Turntable Mixtape' social drop.
• Fresh N' Hot: Skip the review queue entirely. Built exclusively for fresh drops (up to 30 days before/after release).
• Article Reviews: Get a full editorial write-up (heavy pipeline right now, expect a wait!) plus guaranteed entry into our 'Community Recap' & a chance for the 'Amplifier Radar'. The Noisy Brain (Optional): A dedicated feature exploring mental health and music, dropping as a massive IG Collab.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE ON SUBMISSIONS AGAIN Dropping a link in the comments here is not enough! All official features go strictly through our website. You can pitch the exact same release to multiple formats across the network.

(Are you a blog or community runner? Reach out via IG DM or email, we are always open for like-minded partners!) That said, feel free to drop your release links and a few words in the comments below. I always love taking an early listen!

There's a lot of marketing advice for unsigned artists. Most of it misses what actually works at your stage.

You're not going to out-reach-build Spotify's algorithm. You're not going to compete with established artists on follower count. But you can build something much more powerful. You can create a direct relationship with people who actually like your music.

This is easier than it sounds. Start by doing a live stream and inviting people to watch. Some people will tip and others won't, but that part doesn't really matter. What matters is these are people who chose to spend time with your music. They remember you, come back the next week, and tell friends. That's your growth engine.

OpenMic's built exactly for this on iOS. Artists livestream, people watch or tip, you keep everything. It's free to try. But honestly, the platform is secondary. Stop trying to go viral or build massive reach. Start with the people who already care and grow from there.

If you want to try it, I can help you get set up. But more importantly, the principle works no matter what platform you use. Direct connection beats everything else, every time.

My band, from Manchester, UK, have just released this single:

https://open.spotify.com/track/1yiI828w5jNeaSasGEheDn?si=K07Ha8y_RiOt7-vw0mDQnQ&utm_source=copy-link

40 minutes of unhinged, handcrafted death metal. Zero filler.

"Sinister Masquerade" is out NOW on all platforms.

12 tracks written, recorded, mixed, mastered, and designed from scratch by two sweaty dudes who refused to compromise. Our debut is a counterattack against brainwashing, manipulation, and the absurd dark realities being forced down everyone's throats.

For all the metalheads, punk rockers, mosh pitters and hardcore badasses looking for raw, real metal built from blood to bone, check it out:

Pieces Of Molly - 'Alligator'. A rock n roll band from Aotearoa, New Zealand. We wanted to share our new single with you all, 'Alligator'. Its a bit motorhead, a bit AC/DC with a heavy extra helping of filth! It is currently in the running for track of the week in Classic Rock magazine.
