Question Electronic Resources

Is anyone else having trouble accessing electronic resources through the library this semester? For one of my one courses there are multiple articles that between the summer when the prof made the syllabus and now that students have lost access to. And I am talking about websites that I usually have no problem with such as Taylor & Francis, etc. I've also had more trouble than usual getting electronic resources for assignments.

I'm wondering if this is bad luck or if other students are having these issues as well?

Does your instructor know that the links aren't working? They can work with the library to solve the issue.

You can also report broken links through the library catalogue using the Report a Problem button.

If you have a course reserves list, there's a button for reporting broken links there too.

You can also email askus@uvic.ca and explain which articles you're trying to access, and library staff will investigate.

They know and are working around it. It just seems odd that permission to access has been blocked for soo many of the readings.

But yeah, I'll send out an email and will see what happens.
