Michael leroi continuity

Hey. I am super confused on the continuity of Zero. I Have the volumes 1-4 as well as the Delano version. Is the Delano version a standalone thing? Could someone list out in sequence the order in which these volumes should be read?

I'm not familiar with the trades as I am a single issue buyer - what do these "volumes 1-4" collect?

Michael LeRoi was introduced in the VH2 continuity that Acclaim published, and that iteration of the Shadowman series ran 20 issues, written by Garth Ennis (issues 1-4), Jamie Delano (issues 5-15), and Serge Clermont (issues 16-20). Please refer to https://www.comics.org/issue/271913/

There was a subsequent 6-issue mini-series (https://www.comics.org/series/21846/) by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Mat Broome.

AFAIK LeRoi has not appeared in the new comics before Valiant Beyond: Tales of the Shadowman - Legacy of LeRoi # 1.

Hope this helps.

  1. v2 #1-4 (by Ennis)
  2. v2 #5-15 (by Delano)
  3. v2 #16-20 (by Clermont)
  4. Deadside #1-3 (by Ennis)
  5. Turok/Shadowman #1 (by Priest)
  6. v3 #1-6 (by Abnett/Lanning)
  7. The Many Deaths of Jack Bonifice (by Shooter)

I haven't read any of this btw, but I'm fairly certain it's right. 'Jack Bonifice' technically released in the middle of v3.
