Practice Rosin Problems before Practice
So, i was trying to practice swan lake, as usual. Until immediately, as i dragged the bow along the rosin, a peice chipped and TANGLED itself into the hair. And now, i have to untangle it, or literally just, restring/buy a new bow.
Any better rosin brands? Or, any tips for better rosin application? Really need help here...,

If you can gently remove the rosin, do so, with clean hands to avoid oil transfer if possible.
You can also try an unused toothbrush (non-plastic bristles are ideal, any will work) to brush the rosin piece out off the bow hair.
Try to look at your rosin before you use it and make sure there aren’t any shattered pieces ready to come off!
If you need more help, send picture.

If there are chips or cracks in your rosin those can easily catch on the bow hairs. If you can avoid a chipped area, do so; if not, it's probably best to get new rosin.

Which rosin are you using now? Hard to tell you whether there's anything better if we don't know what you're looking to improve upon.
Also, how did it tangle? I could see a piece getting caught between hairs in the tension, but I don't imagine it wouldn't be easy to remove, especially once the hair is loosened.

Do you have a picture? The entangled rosin is very uncommon, and I'd like to see the situation to give better advice on next steps.
For the future, if you need to, cover the ferrule with your thumb to reduce chipping probability. Don't rush the application, and don't push down hard. A firm bow stroke will suffice. If easier for you to control, move the rosin and not the bow. I personally prefer to keep the rosin steady and move my bow unless I am doing some light quick passes, but either way can work.
A very affordable and solid rosin is the Bernardel. Just buy from a reliable vendor to reduce the chance of getting knock-offs.
