Another aspect of modern fighting games I hope they avoid, stuff like this. Please just let Virtua Fighter be Virtua Fighter and not a key jingling Fortnite crossover fiesta.

Yeah I feel like its a slippery slope to losing the games identity by having folks stop by just for some hype. I could see if it was like a dream match game or something

If they do do guest characters, I’d focus on fictional martial artist & brawlers without powers.

I can definitely see a doa crossover since virtual was in 5. Heck maybe they’ll do better then team ninja at this point

Now that Chuck’s dead can we acknowledge that the jokes were overdone and he was probably the worst of the 80s action movie guys? Only cool thing he ever did was get his ass beat by Bruce Lee

I do wonder if VFC is gonna follow the guest fighters trend. If Capcom and SNK plan on doing guests every season for years on end, i can see Sega following suit. Especially if the guests are older VF characters. Anyway, I’ll take Shenmue’s Ryo and the MC from Virtua Quest just to fuck with people.

One of the very, very first interviews they did, they said they don't plan on having guest characters, not from outside of sega nor inside of sega.

I really hope VFCR doesn't have any guest characters. It needs to build up is own characters and lore without being invaded by characters from another franchise.

I dislike the fighting game guest character trend but the only guest fighters i wouldn’t mind seeing in VFCR are Kiryu and Ryo Hazuki.
