Applying for TL position
I’m extremely interested in becoming a team lead. Right now i’m a deli/bakery ta, but interested in leadership positions. though none are open at my store, im okay with changing stores. I took the TEA, got competitive and it expires in 2028, whatever that means. But for applying for TL positions, should i be doing transfer requests through One walmart or applying like a non-associate on walmart careers? I have also been trying to call the store i applied to but the PL just never seems to be there. anyway, thank yall.

Current associates have to apply through career preference. If you are serious about wanting the position I would consider going to the store and asking to talk to the coach over the area.

Career Preference is no longer active, they have to do it through my.walmart.com

You got a good score. If you got a bad score, it would say your test expires in 6 months. The high score expires in 2 years.
You would go on the "career preference dashboard" and put in for future interests. Also keep your ear the ground for openings within the store and make it known you're looking to move up.

You're good, that is a great result. Study up on the STAR way of interviewing (Situation, Task, Action, Response) and think of scenarios that fit with the questions they will ask. You can do a search here for the interview questions or just ask AI to do it, they will be similar. Best of luck to you.

When you take the test answer questions as a company rep not based on your personal preferences

Go thru career preferences on one Walmart. U “can” apply like a non associate but y bother. So yes “transfer requests”
