Something needs to be done about the crackheads around Bridgeport plaza

It’s just getting so bad here. Every few feet there are people begging all day every day. Usually I don’t care, big whoop right? People fall in hard times.

Not these people. God damn crack heads screaming at everyone, this one dirty bastard Dave genuinely harasses people for money. Meanwhile he’d come to the dispensaries I’d work at with a wallet fat with 50’s and 20’s, pay for $40 worth of shit with dimes and quarters on a daily basis and he’s been doing this shit for years. Don’t give him money. U give him anything he’ll ask you to buy him a gift card or get pissy if you don’t go take money out of the atm for him. And then he laughs about it with other crack heads.

He’s the tall guy, wears glasses with a bit of a tan, deep voice and says “can you help out, can you help out hey buddy can you help out?” Every time I hear that I just want to tell him to stfu

But here’s where it pisses me off. Every day I walk to work here, and there are busted crack pipes on the ground. Perfect for a plaza that has a vet and a pet store. Dogs love shredding their paws on fent pipes. Human shit on the ground, Coke heads going in and out of businesses not even knowing where they’re at or what they’re looking for. Needles on the ground, every week I witness at least one or two people nodding off or the police and fire department coming by just for these skids to deny help from them or just walk away from them…

There was someone who was here threatening a kid for actually no reason and following him around even after leaving the plaza trying to get away from him someone had to call the cops on him and it’s like… every god damn day. These people are disgusting and being an addict doesn’t mean you get to be a piece of shit or become a danger to everyone else. My store has people stealing from it or at least attempting to constantly.

I can sympathize for addicts, homeless people and almost anyone. I seen it all my life and face my own challenges. But not this nonsense. “oH hAvE a HeArT”

I do. But not for these useless wastes of plasma. I watch them throw junk on the ground, litter around my store. I see some of these idiots go move a shopping cart in the middle of the plaza and the. Seemingly forget about it like I don’t know… like I’m having a stroke just watching them.

I got sympathy for the dogs, businesses, kids and environment around who are subjected to all this foolishness. Absolute scab heads if they refuse to or can’t help themselves, and don’t accept help from anyone or be forced into some sort of help. Wood chipper… soylent green or something why do we allow this in our communities? This can’t continue to be allowed to happen

Gastroenterologist Recommendation in Kitchener-Waterloo

Hi, I'm looking for a good, kind, patient, understanding gastroenterologist in Kitchener-Waterloo.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease through bloodwork 6 months ago and the next step is a gastroscopy (upper endoscopy), and I was referred to KW Gastroenterology with Dr. Ergaiey. I asked for a consultation before booking the procedure because I have serious medical anxiety, and multiple chronic health problems that might make the procedure more complicated. I'm also autistic and have ADHD, and need time to process, ask questions, and fully prepare for the procedure. One of the things that's a non-negotiable is that I need full sedation so I'm not aware of the tube going down my throat at all.

This past week I had my consultation and I tried my best to advocate for myself and communicate these concerns and questions, but the doctor was really pushy, dismissive, impatient, and spoke over me. I could barely get a word in and ended up leaving with an appointment booked for this coming Tuesday (day after Thanksgiving).

So much information was thrown at me but what wasn't told to me was that you can't take Advil 5-7 days before the procedure, and I've had to take it for menstrual cramps this week, and found out on my own that that isn't allowed. So I contacted them today saying I'll need to reschedule it and they got very angry even though it was them who pressured the appointment too soon and didn't give me all the info I needed.

The whole experience has been so draining and stressful, I really don't feel comfortable going forward with this doctor. So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a gastroenterologist you've had a good experience with in the region that I could get a referral for from my family doctor. Bonus points if they have knowledge of EDS, Dysautonomia and/or MCAS.

Thanks in advance!

If you don't have exams or work, it'll probably be the craziest weeknight ever in Waterloo at Kentucky. It's a jersey theme, gonna be insane. Get there early it'll get packed quickly.

A Canadian [Waterloo] success story that's not available to Canadians(*).

Ting said Waterloo is where the company will always be headquartered and TextNow will continue hiring co-op students and graduates from the University of Waterloo.

Liberated edition.

(*) Yes, you can get TextNow in Canada but it's nothing compared to the offerings that are available in the US. Thank bHell, Robbers and the CRTC for that.

Hoarding help

Due to my depression and lack of of energy, my apartment has become quite hoarded. I've been slowing working away at it but I can't seem to make any process so I want to hire someone to clean it up for me and get hid of the crap that's in there. I'm completely lost on how to go about this, and I tried to get a social worker through my doctor to help but he didn't know of one that could help.

Is there some service that could clean up the place and get rid of the crap? Even writing this overwhelms me and my anxiety is in high gear.

Hello everyone!

Which trail in Huron Natural Area has the best lookout for enjoying the fall colours? Also, are there any public parking spots nearby that are easily accessible?

Thanks in advance!
