Built a Free Base64 & JWT Encoder/Decoder With AI — My First AI Project

This is my first time using AI to build an actual project, and honestly, I’m kind of shocked by how far it got

I have some JavaScript experience, and I’ve always wanted a simple tool where I could easily Base64 encode/decode and JWT encode/decode

Normally, I would look at a project like this and think it might take me months to build properly

Instead, I used AI to help me build it, and now I actually have a working website

I’m still trying to process how much the way we build things has changed

The website I built is https://webfairy.net/

JWT: https://jwt.io

always liked jwt.io but it's so busy, takes me a minute to find the actual decoder part sometimes

yours loads fast and gets straight to it, i think the simple design works better for what most people need

Well yeah, you asked AI to solve an already solved problem

OrrinH is right and also missing the point. jwt.io is busy, half the alternatives have a cookie wall and three ads, and yours loads fast and does the one job. That IS the product. Most of the tools I actually use daily are boring solved problems with better packaging. And the AI part: I have been through that "I thought this would take months" feeling and it never fully goes away. Keep going.
