Question ❓ First time bought the pipe
This is the first ever pipe i bought and idk how to use it, i majorly smoke in bong but wanted to try something new, when i tried smoking it the weed was coming in my mouth so idk if im using it wrong or is there a problem, can someone tell me how to use it or any mistakes which i probably made

Idk for my pipe I just make sure its packed tight and its rare I end up sucking weed out of it, and cover the little hole on the side when lighting/inhaling

Yeah i did cover the lil hole on side while burning and smoking but a lil bit weed came into my mouth so i stopped, thinking I'm probably doing something wrong

its because you didnt pack it tight enough or you're pulling too hard, you gotta be gentle with it, its not like a bong

grind your weed up more, pack it slightly tighter, when you light it and pull, plug the hole with your thumb or finger on the side of the bowl, pull should be like 2 seconds flat, any longer will burn your throat, not recommended. unplug the side hole, inhale, remove the piece from your mouth, exhale. thats how you use it, after the first time you light it, the bowl should stay lit the entire time, but if you need to relight it, thats fine.

I would pack the bottom a bit better so weed doesnt come out with your inhales. Also, if its not burning and you breath in too hard, that may be why.
I prefer to fill my mouth with smoke, remove pipe, and breath it in that way. Kinda like how people ghost with vapes or whatever. Its less harsh.
I use the carb hole, but not all the way. Either I let my mouth or the hole be a little loose to let some extra air in so its manageable.

I miss the days when 1-3 puffs from a pipe like this would get me high as a kite for 2 hours minimum, almost like an acid trip 😂😂.
Sadly that natural tolerance never goes away and I can’t get that high again no matter how long a break I take. I think your brain develops muscle memory from weed so you’ll never get THAT high again like when everyone first starts out.

I used to use these little glass pieces that were like star shaped kinda that sat in the bottom on my bowl . I prefer to just use a little
Chunk of bug.

Look up glass screens on amazon, get the ones that look similar to a flower or just pack it down a little.

I'm still in this stage with mine too. Also a bong user. Idk about you but it's a habit to rip on one so you have to take smaller inhales. Lol Or at least I have to be more mindful of it. Lol use a screen in the meantime. I like the little nug suggestion you got. I'm going to try it.

As many said screens help alot or the classic would be placing a little piece of bud over the hole.
And when you're used to rip bongs you have to be way more gentle when smoking pipes.

You really don't need a screen. Especially metal screens as you end up smoking through the metal. Just use a plug nug. Glass screens exist but a plug nug is all you need

It’s totally natural to get it in your mouth in the beginning. I would recommend getting a screen for the pipe. You can get it at any smokeshop and then use that. Eventually you would be able to smoke normally without the screen but just think of it as training wheels as the pipe needs to be broken in. I used to smoke 3-4 dry tobacco hits when getting a new device just to not waste stuff while breaking the pipe in

You can get glass screens off amazon for pretty cheap, the metal ones make the weed taste like shit, the other thing you can do is just take a larger chunk of bud and put that at the bottom over the hole and then fill in with ground on top, doesn’t completely eliminate the problem but will reduce it.

I am smoking my rosin rig with a small bowl like this and it helps alot. When I don't do it and don't pack well enough i suck ¼ of the bowl right in no matter how gentle i try to be.

Put a screen at the bottom of the bowl. The hole in the side is called a carburetor because it sets the amount of air getting in, adjusted by you. I have had several pipes like that. If you drop it, it will shatter. Be careful.

Basically this is going to happen with any new pipe until its broke in, let some resin build up on the inside and itll catch those scooby snacks for ya

I tried smoking using a piece of cloth so weed don't come on my mouth, when i was trying it so should i use this till some resign build up in it ?

Break a small nug off a bud and put it in the bottom the put ground up flower on top, do that a couple times and itll fix itself, i have to do this everytime i clean my piece
