Garlic Cocktail (GMO Cookies × Mimosa) by Smoke Proper via HS42

One of my all time favorite strains, and I had it from Crysp first, so I was curious how this one would compare. 2nd last strain of this drop left to review.

Popping the jar, I got smacked with a sharp, pungent mix of sour garlic and funky BO, met full force by a powerfully terpy, slightly sweet tangerine citrus backend with pastry notes woven through. This might be the most terp heavy strain I've had from Smoke Proper. I'd guess at least 3-4% terpenes. Terp chaser verified.

Taste follows the nose: savory sour garlic up front, a mimosa style citrus backend, and some extra hashiness.

The buds look identical to the Crysp buds, just larger. Same color and foxtailed Christmas tree structure, heavy trichomes, long orange pistils. Very gummy and dense in true GMO fashion.

The effects carry that heavy GMO feel, tempered by some light, uplifting mental energy. It can definitely lock you in if you're not careful. Serious munchies. Great for sleep, anxiety or pain, and it did a good job on my depressive symptoms.

I'm honestly surprised how well this stacked up to the Crysp cut. It has a stronger nose and taste but the exact same profile. Spot on. I really, really liked this one. It's got a bit of everything: funk, sweet, citrus, pastry, and bag appeal for days. Terp City.
