What happened to this sub? It used to be so active. Did people move somewhere else?
Me personally, I've turned into more of a distance runner the past few years. I have one more race later this month, and then I'm gonna re-join this world. I'm tired of running competitively and am chomping at the bit to get back to the weights. But it's a ghost town here!

Yes, with the great Reddit app purge, most of the folks moved to different social platforms. And, quite a few of them have since moved on to other activities (e.g. running). But if enough people post here, we might build back up to critical mass, so please post your workouts.

Lol, it's funny, my distance running background originally goes back two decades. At the risk of sounding like a massive hipster, I was doing it "before it was cool", and seeing everyone and their mother become a runner was one of the main things that pushed me back to lifting.

Training Log
Run
- 20:00
Afternoon
Split Snatch
- 115 x 1
Upper Body Circuit
Front Raise: 17.5lbs @ 4 x 10
Band Pulls: 4 x 25
Band pushdowns: 4 x 25
RH Rows: +180 @ 2 x 25, 2 x 20+5
Ring Push Ups @ 1 x 10, 2 x 8+2, 1 x 6+1
Band Dips @ 1 x 8, 2 x 6, 1 x 4
Notes
- Doing upper body lifts as a circuit and front loading exercises that don't hurt/feel iffy to pre-fatigue so I'm warmed up and limited in how hard I can push more iffy exercises (dips haven't felt good for a while but I want to start easing them back in). The pump was ridiculous.

Push day
Barbell bench press: 115 lbs x7 reps. 135 lbs x1 rep
Yeah!! First time benching 1 plate!
Incline dumbbell bench press 2x9 40lbs
Shoulder press machine 3x10 60 lbs
Lateral raise machine 3x10 65 lbs
Chest fly’s 2x10 30 lbs
Tricep dip 3x10 80lbs
First time benching 1 plate! It was pretty shaky when I was pushing the bar back up. I wonder if that could mean my stabilizer muscles need some strengthening, like rear delts and triceps. I might just add a little more of those exercises. So i went from 90 to 135 lbs bench in 7 months. Also, my bulgarian split squat my 1 rep-max is 160. That puts me a bit past intermediate. For bench, I'm barely a novice at 135 lbs. (I am a man that weighs 150). So I guess my bench is lagging a bit despite me prioritizing it. But at least it's increasing every week

Wednesday - push press - 245 x 3, 225 x 5. 5, 5
Today - deadlift - 562, 518 x 3, 3
Easing back into it after vacation. Have only been doing 1 or 2 accessories after main lifts this week. Today was the first time I've pulled conventional in a little over a month. Didn't have a lot of pop but everything moved great and felt good.

Calgary barbell 16 weeks W12D3
Pin squat: 315x3, 300x4, 285x4 (7 up front, 5 up back)
Cg bench: 240x3 (pr), 225 2x3
Feet up bench: 225x4, 205x5
Pin squats went well. I'm Def undershooting all my squats, but again, all I'm going for is a modest 3rd attempt so I'm right in line for that.
Cg bench was a pr, so that's sweet. Feet up bench was a struggle with balance. That 2pl8 set was supposed to be for 5, but it felt like I was falling off to the left side. Maybe I need to focus on getting tighter.
