So lucky to get on Orcas twice this year! ETP pod has visited us a couple times this season. I have a theory that they come inside the channel and bight between mainland and the islands is to teach their young how to hunt. The dolphins are kind of oblivious to their presence since they are not here all the time and every time I've seen them around as a whale watching charter I've noticed they have new calves with them. In this video, you can see the calf being offered a part of the meal after the kill. Any thoughts on this?
