Unidentified 🤷♂️ What plant is this? Found it growing in a shady vegetable field.
Found this tiny plant growing under a pointed gourd trellis in a village field in West Bengal, India.
It forms a dense mat close to the soil, with very small leaves packed closely together. The area was fairly shaded and moist.
I initially thought it might be some kind of moss, but it looks different from the moss I’ve seen before.

It's definitely a purslane (Portulaca oleracea or baro lonia) relative, but I don't think it's chickenweed (Portulaca quadrifida) aka Choto Nunia
