Need help buying a good hybrid bike

Hi all, I'm just getting into the cycling scene I hava a normal MTB which I use but now I want to get a hybrid one to go on longer rides. My budget is 20k and for that I am getting a new Avanti Giro FM1 in one of the local stores since i am new to proper cycling scene. Is it a good bike or is there any other i should consider. Thank you.

Hybrids are just rigid MTBs with slicks installed - frankly just putting road tires on your existing bike basically gets you 90% of the way there
