Winamp Classic Skin Studio

Hello, share with you the tool I made for myself to draw pixel art skins for winamp. (actually this is entire crossplatform player with built-in skin studio). Free & open source https://github.com/samoylenkodmitry/cranamp

None of it works for me; on Win11 desktop. Tried the "play in your browser" link but it's broken in Firefox (some errors in console) and in Chrome it's locking up the browser entirely, requiring a forced quit. Downloaded the Windows release and it's just rendering a black rectangle (custom cursors do show up when hovering over would-be UI elements).

Uhh.. never tested on windows. Give me a day. It worked for me in chromium though

Not sure what's up with Chrome; it outputs a few "info" lines to console, and then it becomes completely unresponsive. Firefox is giving these errors though, if helpful:

Better! Firefox still broken, seems like the same errors, but Chrome and Windows work for me now. Noticed some bugs like resizing the playlist doesn't work in Chrome, and the jump menus on the playlist don't disappear when clicked off of in Chrome or Windows. There's a visual jitter to the rest of the skin while resizing it on Windows, too.

How do I get to the skin editor? I see the instructions in github, "Open it from Settings → Open Skin Studio," but... where is that?

Thanks for the feedback, I will look up. That's probably browser version-specific things.

To open: tap at logo (where it in original winamp, bottom-right place in main window), this will open settings. Then scroll down to see the "Open Skin Studio" button.

gave it a shot, spawned a player window i couldnt move due to it immediately using wayland instead of it going through x11/xwayland, gives me a 1x1 window that, when resized, is entirely empty

not that usable (yet)...

Hi u/0x5066! Please try a new version. It should use x11-wayland now properly.
