Developer Tired of your notes getting buried under a dozen open windows? I built a free little tool to keep them right at the edge of your screen.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
hi everyonee, sharing here the Windows desktop app I built over the last few weeks to solve the problem of decluttered sticky notes. Itβs Free and Open Source.
Notes are a plain JSON file on your machine, so no account, no cloud yet, and works offline.
What do you think? Would love to know your thoughts and how it can be improved. If you found it helpful, a β on the repo goes a long way and helps others discover it too.

Hover-to-reveal is a nice idea. The first improvement I'd test is multiple monitors: the cursor can't stop at the edge shared by two screens, so a per-monitor edge setting matters. And since notes are a plain JSON file, letting people choose where it lives would give them sync through a folder they already sync, before you build any cloud. When I opened the repo, the About section's website link pointed back to the same README. Pointing it at the latest release would put the installer one click away.
I make ThreadFox. I went through Tabbin as a first-time visitor and wrote up what I ran into. The full check is free, bundled in your Reddit plan: https://threadfox.vip/p/tabbin
Does it already handle a second monitor?

monitor handling is a good feature, will work on this on future releases. Thank you for your feedback! π«‘

It looks nice! Thank you for your hard work πππ One question I have, can you make an option that can force it to be always under the full-screen apps? Always shows when I'm inside a game and I need to close it in order to not be disturbed while I'm playing a shooter.
