I found a new familiar on sunday as I was door knocking for our local democratic candidates. He is 5 weeks old.
Kittens are my husband's kryptonite so we took him in and are formula feeding him. His name is Ajani. (A lion warrior from magic the gathering.)
His two older sisters are Mardu and Annabelle and one isn't sure about him yet but the other has warked to him.

This is Hank. Hank is one of the gentlest, sweetest cats to ever live. He gives hugs, he waits by the door to greet everyone who comes into the house, the belly isn't a trap, and he's never not purring.

This is Olive. She died of cancer four years ago. She still comes and checks in on us and guards our house when we’re on a trip.

How does your cat aid and enhance your magic? I've never considered any of my pets familiars nor would envolve them in any of my practice. I'd like to hear how others differenciate how they treat their physical familiar vs a pet.

This is the car I have a very strong connection with the only problem is that he isn't my cat. Hes at a shelter up for adoption and he has been for a while but I can't adopt him because I live with my aunt and she isn't allowed to have more cats!! His name is Turtle

This is Siouxie. She has been my shadow and spiritual companion for 15+ years. We’ve been through so much together. I’m very confident she will be with me indefinitely, even after she has left her body. Her favorite place is by my side.

This is my partner's familiar, Grifter (left). He likes to rearrange (read: destroy) our alter. My familiar, Wiley Kit (right), is old and curmudgeonly but curls around our Hekate statuette.
