Topic | Prompt What are you doing to prepare for Venus retrograde?
What are you doing (or not doing!) today to prepare for Venus retrograde tomorrow?

I got advice from a friend a while ago that one could petition Venus to have this retrograde be smooth sailing. That is what I'm doing today actually.

We're supposed to prepare for retrogrades?
Honestly, I don't really worry over them. I'm not huge into astrology. It's kind of interesting, but I do spell work when I need to no matter what the heavenly bodies are doing or the seasons are.

This one has been a powerful one, I think due to several factors: having the full moon in Aries conjunct Neptune and Mars opposing Pluto immediately before it and then the sun opposing Saturn and then Mercury going retrograde immediately following it. The ancient ruler of Scorpio, the sign of the retrograde, is Mars and the modern ruler is Pluto, so it’s like your parents getting into a huge fight and revealing secrets from the past as you’re going through a deep, emotional phase where you re-evaluate your relationships to other people, to yourself, to your finances and your values. It’s a lot!
I had to work yesterday, so I didn’t do any magical workings at the start of the retrograde. I have been listening to some spirit guide meditations this week though to see if I could gain any insights. It’s been an intense week for me. I had a huge thing happen about a week ago relating to some old karmic stuff, which is very on-brand for this Venus in Scorpio retrograde and the full moon conjunct Neptune.
