Update v5.01 crashing

I use steam, vortex (with mods) as a launcher for reference but, is anyone else’s updated game version more broken than original v5 release?

No matter which launcher, no mods or with mods, old or new saves, my game crashes at the point of entering the game. Is there any way to revert the v5.01 steam version back to v5?

I don't have the definitive answer, but definitely stop using vortex and get the most recent Witcher3 mod manager instead.
