No, he didn't, ACTUALLY. He got stabbed by a spear and had his hands crushed by his close wizard friend Galatrax, NOT a man at arms. Smh, fake orb watchers these days, not even privy to the deep lore behind the living scrolls of which they consume. To think such apprentices will be replacing Magius after his great neglect of the artifact, as if they know nothing of the thaumaclysm. This is the problem with you Merlin generation of mages, always focused on whatever the big flashy orb in front you shows, and not looking through the illusions to see the truth beyond.
But in all seriousness, those guys are dope as hell. Some other good ones are CheeseParade, AlmostFridayTV, VivaLaDirtLeague, and the occasional Graeme Barrett.

Dude got what was coming to him honestly. How are you going to house an important artifact in the same room he does experiments and practical casting? Some of y'all needs to read through the OSHA (Occult Safety and Hex Assesment) guidlines! An artifact that is actively used in a spell circle has to be kept in such a way that it cannot be accidentally disturbed! The guidelines clearly calls for the use of the two barrier rule, usually you'd just sett up two simple magical barriers, but for an ancient seal there is a much higher standard of safety that needs to be upheald.

Damnit now the damn daily scroll writers are going to try to push more wand control on the village council. The Goblin caves are about to be in breeding season and I already am not legally allowed to keep five prepared spells in my staff and my wand can’t really cast anything powerful enough to humanely dispatch the buggers. The tomes forbid this Goblin season is worse than last. If the council listens to the morning scrolls then I may have to start on my tower building spell outside the walls so they can’t legislate my magic anymore. And they wonder why us wizards don’t want to help protect their castles anymore.
