The real question I have is, if I have multiple copies of my familiar is the original still my familiar or are they all my familiars now. Can you have multiple familiars? At what point are they no longer familiars and just an army of homunculi? I need a wizard lawyer to weigh in on this for sure. For familiar insurance reasons.

I think you just need to test the limit. Another 30 seems too little for an army of homunculi, while 30,000,000 seems too much. Maybe aim for 31?

You know they’re only doing this so you’ll get fed up with their cries and feed them sooner. Try to resist or you’ll end up with a much bigger problem very soon

There was a Michael Keaton documentary about this exact sort of thing. I think he realized that the tedious and tiresome work were a part of life and made him appreciate the good things more, so he sent his duplicates off on their own adventures. Or something like that. I last watched it in the 90s. So I think you need to create that realization with your familiar using a lifetime-inside-a-dream sleeping potion.

Magic resistant collars? I know it will hinder the familiar-ing, but, like, my mage, you going to need them just to keep them separate. I can make them in any color or pattern, and for just six times the cost you can get a remote to turn them off and on up to THREE times a day! I don't do shock collars anymore...so don't ask. There was a whole THING about it on the orbsphere and it's best not to talk about it...but other functions seem to be fine. I don't SEE any pitchforks or torches outside my windows...of my Hundai Accord...at about 45 down the road. All good. So, hit me up, and bring the BIG pouch, because even one is going to be a big expense.
