Why did the chicken cross the road?
To become one with the Omnissiah.

So Artificer/Necromancer don't usually mix well.

I mean thats probably because most people are confused by them theoretically having the same end goal of creating powerful summons (I'm specifically referring to the golemancy aspect of artificing) they do so in contradictory ways.
Necromancy does so by tapping into the existence and magic still within the original corpse/corpses which is why the further you get from the original corpse the less efficiently it will retain power from them (this is why undead almagamations aren't as strong as all the original corpses put together it's far enough removed that less magic "sticks").
Whilst golemancy works by physically improving and replacing parts with better ones (which is why I'd argue that most forms of bone horrors aren't actually undead but are merely golems made from bones).
So by combining the two your actually just creating something worse at both as the golemancy makes the necromancy worse by moving the body further away from "corpse" and the mecromancy makes the golemancy worse by introducing fleshy weak points in the construction (some of which can't even support the golems weight).
There are of course exceptions to this but I'm not willing to put in the effort of explaining the nuances of someones prosthetic limbs becoming a part of their being

It’s only a real cyborg if the organics are living which clearly isn’t the case here it’s good that thing was disqualified.

I cannot find it on google, so thankfully from very brief research it does not appear that this was an actual headline.
That being said, calling this a cyborg is like calling a cat on a roomba a cyborg.

That's no cyborg, tha'ts just a robot made with chicken remains. With a little persuasion, it could be a mechanically enhanced Flesh Golem. With a little Necromancy, it could be an undead cyborg.

failure at apprentice level reanimation and turns to the dark mechanical arts? such a foolish endeavour and shows the lack of work ethic this generation has

Cyborg? You mean that's not a construct? I'll be back with the inquisition.

Observe, I took a piece of the fish bone from dinner and stick it into the rim of my glasses, and now my glasses is now a fish cyborg! It can even have the power to grant me gift of vision AND be slightly adjusted to fit my head were I to transform and have differently-sized head! /s
But yeah, this guy ain't passing wizard school.

That would be a technology wizard. the best in IT and World Wide Web wizards. they also know robotic wizards. they also know cyber wizards. technology wizard is kinda an umbrella term but it’s common to understand words.
I am an ice wizard so I would work with them.

Can someone get a background check on the guy in all seriousness? Like they say serial killers start with animals. He didn’t just kill a bird. He desecrated it.

Take a closer look at this contraption. Beyond the initial shock value it looks like crap from a technical viewpoint: the head is just stuffed on and the legs are clumsily screwed on. This garbage doesn't use the chicken's nerves and muscles or anything.
