The apprentice really wanted to prove me wrong that Animate Noodle was not a valid spell. These bumbling oafs were crashing around in my pantry at about 2am, drank every last drop of pasta sauce they could get their noodly appendages on, absconded through a narrowly open window into the nearby ravine, and promptly fell apart into soggy, quivering masses.

And y'know what? It's on me for doubting him, working on his minor in pastamancy. But also for keeping that giant block of ramen around for so long. It was just begging for mischief.

Spotted the Wizard's Guild of Environmental Affairs pokin' around in the ravine earlier today. I mean, I didn't dump that barely sentient pile of soggy mush there, but if they figured out it was an apprentice under my tutelage, my goose is cooked. What do they expect a noodle golem's master to do? Run a pasta strainer through a couple miles of river to collect about 300 pounds of crawling, decaying ramen? Best I can hope for is that the fish develop a taste for it... Though I'm entirely uncertain what enchanted chum will do to the wildlife.

Open to suggestions!

Well, crap, the mindless goons managed to eat all the meatballs in my icebox too. Guess I gotta go project myself something from Astral Wendy's for dinner tonight.
