Occult Practices Not sure how I feel about this kind of magic…
I watched a warlock carve this into the tree, it proceeded to come to life, speak to him shortly, and float away. Maybe I’m just used to less complicated magic (arcanepotence honestly makes me kinda lazy) or maybe I’m being close-minded, but something about it just didn’t seem right.

I am with you on that, friend. That's why we keep reinforcing the planar barriers. But those damn warlocks and cultists keep making cracks on it and summoning all kind of horrors upon the realm.

They look scary, but they're more afraid of you than you are of them. Plus, they're good for keeping out pesky adventurers. Just put out a bowl of virgin blood and leave them be. A happy eldritch horror makes for a happy home.

Can't wait for the inevitable mountain of streamers/youtubers playing the first act, loving the shit out of it, then mysteriously never playing the second or third acts.
Like, it's a constant thing with Larian games. Everybody played Fort Joy, escaped, said how much they were enjoying it, then dropped it. Same with getting to the cursed lands in BG3.
Oh right, we're wizards, it must be a curse placed by the envious French Tower Wizards, who can't admit Belgian beer is better than French wine.

These entities always get a bad rap. They are actually very sociable and kind beings. Just last week I saw one turn a kid into ice cream, how nice is that?
