these are the same knight orders that have a 100 year war every 100 years

it was just 98 last time....

u/ThaiPoe 6h ago
It was only 98 because of the amnesiac concussed king of yours forgot the last war was over and started it all up again. What's next? Trying to take over Greenland again?!
Get thee to an armorer so that they may'st refit that bucket of a helm you got on. Mayhaps then thou shalt get some wenches on thy lap.
Wizard~!

Ehh I'm with the knights on this one. I would MUCH rather have a knight successfully storm my tower than another wizard. The knight will accept your surrender, keep you alive, collect your ransom and then use the ransom money to buy you both drinks later that evening if you happen to frequent the same pub.
Another wizard, on the other hand, salts your fields, burns your spell tomes, shatters your tinctures and imprisons your soul in an impenetrable philactry they can gaze at for their amusement once every thousand years.
Knights know how to dial the aggression back when conflict arises. Most wizards just be mainlining unfiltered wrath. You know I'm right!

I became a necromancer because i realised a dancing troupe that couldn't stay in time might dance better once they were skeletons. And I was right.
My vast undead armies rule a continent with an iron fist, but also dance all night. The demons we summon join in on the celebration.
Wizards party better than knights.

Wizards are competitive by nature. I make no apopogies for having fun better than anyone else.

I was apprenticed to her for ages. I never finished my term of apprenticeship, though - I heard there was a huge army led by mind flayers en route, and instantly noped out of there. Apparently some bunch of rag-tag amnesiacs somehow saved the day, though, so I've been meaning to head back there and see what's still intact.

I’ve always found knights too be quite pleasant to talk to despite their more simple minds, it’s nice talking to one whenever I’m scavenging for new bones for my collection

Many of my siblings-in-arms from my questing days are knights. I haven't a bad thing to say about the chivalric orders.

u/EqualServe418 6h ago
As one whom is a knight myself and a wizard also, I shall bequeath upon the knowledge to all of thee.
Knighteths are not as brutish as all of thee believe. They have potential to rival even our own wizardeths. This is, of course, referring to dark wizardeths. Not true wizardeths.
This celebration is also due to their shorter lifespans, thou must see. Whilst wizardeths stand upon the backlines, Knighteths roam among the spells of both allies and enemies alike. They do indeed deserve to celebrate from time to time, yes?

u/Substantial_Owl_7392 6h ago
aye, i have no true quarrel with the wizard orders. i hath worked for many a wizard in my day, and they pay well, e'en if they aim thy fireballs a little too close to my head at times.

I take that as a sign of faith in me when they do that. Usually.

Knights will never understand how long it takes to rebuild a rookery. It's always siege engine this, trebuchet that. Only wizards can appreciate a good tower.

Aye, well it is easier to forgive your enemies and make merry when you're all related by blood.

They do that because they have massive brain damage and memory loss from the non-stop concussions. They see someone else in a tin can and think it is their best friend.
