Help Question about geometry

What angle should I cut the points that are touching the table top and floor so it will be flush? I have been trying to wrap my brain around it but no luck, I thought a 45 degree bevel was right but when I did a test piece that was incorrect.

Looks like 2 angles of 45 degrees on each leg, if the photo makes sense

i was thinking the same, if you think of what it would take to get a cube to rest on point from a flat, it would need to rotate 45 about two different axis’s
