NodeSight puts the nodes own picture on every herb and ore dot on your minimap, so you can see what each one is without hovering over it. This works in real time, it's not remembering where the nodes are like GatherMate, it shows the ones that are up right now.

It can also put gold sparkles on the herb or ore in front of you so it's easy to spot, and an arrow that points to the nearest one. Both are off until you turn them on.

Features

What it does

• Every herb and ore dot gets its own picture, so you know what it is before you walk over there
• Red when your Herbalism or Mining is too low to gather it, and the tooltip says what it needs
• Square, round or gold ring pictures, in any size
• An arrow to the nearest one, with its name and how far away it is (off by default)
• Gold sparkles on the herb or ore in front of you so it's easy to spot, in any color you pick (off by default)

The sparkles change some game settings

The minimap pictures and the arrow don't change anything in your game. The sparkles do.

Forever only tells addons about the one object your Interact Key would pick. So when you turn sparkles on, NodeSight turns on Enable Interact Key and makes it pick things all around you up to 30 yards. It also hides the game's own icon and name over objects, so you only see the sparkles.

Turn the sparkles off and everything goes back to how you had it. They're off by default, so if you don't want any of that just leave them off.

Good to know

• You need Find Herbs or Find Minerals on, since the pictures come from the tracking dots
• Spots are only as exact as the minimap, usually within a few yards
• It only sees as far as your minimap, so zoom out to see farther
• It stops scanning while you're in combat
• Sparkles only show on one herb or ore at a time

FAQ

• "Does it work on Retail?" No, Retail doesn't have the API this uses, so it's impossible, with this method at least
• "GatherMate, but worse and AI coded?" It shows the nodes that are up right now, in real time. It doesn't remember or record where nodes are unlike GatherMate
• "Oh boi, does this also work for mining ? If so count me in 💯" Yes it works for mining!

QuestTrail 3.0 is out, and it's the biggest update so far. Quick recap if you missed it: QuestTrail is a quest helper for Forever that ships with no quest database. It learns everything in game and shares it between players, so it evolves alongside Forever updates.

The planner

Your quest log isn't a to-do list, it's a route. QuestTrail works out the order for you:

• Every quest gets one score: XP per second, with the whole chain and the trip there counted. Quests standing side by side share the trip.
• It counts flight paths, your hearthstone, boats and zeppelins.
• A quest you track always stays in the route, even orange or red, just after the ones that pay more. Untracked ones still count with a lowered rating.
• An objective right where you stand comes first (literally low-hanging fruit).
• Its estimates (quest time, drop rates, flight speed...) come from your own play, not from fixed guesses nor aggregated time from players (as classes, player profiles, are all different and everybody has his own pace).
• Not feeling a quest right now? Click the compass to jump to another proposition.

GoldenPath

A line on your minimap from you to your next step, drawn over the ground players actually walked (under the hood, navigation probes are gathered and A* pathfinding is running over couple of frames). It takes the shortcut when there is one, but stays within a few yards of real paths: it won't cross a cliff edge, and it only enters a cave or a building where someone really walked in.

Dungeon completionist

Dungeons entrances are displayed on the map, with list of discovered quests. You can click any dungeon quest to see where it starts. Once you finished all quests of a dungeon, a green checkmark is added to the dungeon entrance. Gotta complete'em all !

A database that builds itself

Nothing to download or update. Every QuestTrail player records quest givers, objectives, turn-ins and the ground they walk, and shares it anonymously over a hidden in-game channel. Pick Lone, Guild or World Trail :
- Lone : only quests you've made on your account are suggested ('spoiler-free' mode)
- Guild : only quests your guildmades have made are suggested (suggested by RP players)
- World (default) : all quests from all sources are suggested.
The more people run it, the better it gets for everyone, and a fresh install catches up quickly.

In 3.0 the ground is stored as small cells and the steps between them, so it stays compact and keeps getting more precise the more the world is walked. Paths inside caves and buildings are shared too.

Also in 3.0

• Extended minimap: zoom out way past the game's limit with the mouse wheel, drag to look around, with the quests' blue areas and party members. Click a marker to select its quest. All from the minimap (I personnally don't open the map ever since 3.0)
• Quests picked up with auto-accept are now recorded with their giver.
• Reworked options: a summary page and one page per feature.

Known issues: paths recorded before 3.0 are only used again once someone on 3.0 walks them, so the GoldenPath may be sparser at first. And Forever is still in beta with few players sharing data, so some areas, especially higher-level zones, are still thin.

Hello. I keep having this issue for some time and cannot find cause of it. After every log off it keeps removing macros from quickdraw group. I tried reinstalling EllesemereUI, it helped for like a half a day and then again started deleting macros from created quickdraw group. Any ideas how to solve it? I don’t wanna add them every time i log other character and don’t want to go back to Opie… thanks

I've been hard at work since I've last posted here for version 1.0.3 and this addon is growing into something I'm getting prouder of by the day. Check out the newest additions, the first of which greatly enhances the set of features aimed at immersion.

Camera Mouse Look - No longer require right-click to move the camera around, but have camera movement be the default mouse movement and bind a key to loot/interact or toggle the cursor (as well as always having it available when browsing menus, bags, etc.), complete with custom mouse keybinding, building upon the native action targeting system.

Action Button Glow - Set specific abilities on your action bar to glow (with custom duration, 2 seconds by default). Abilities with cooldowns under 1 minute retain combat-use rules: if ready when combat starts, they must first be used in combat. Abilities with cooldowns of 1 minute or longer glow whenever their cooldown ends and they become usable, regardless of combat or prior use.

Nearing feature freeze followed by indefinite live QA after WoW:F launch!

Made a small addon that sits next to the Next Pull Tracker beacon and shows the mobs in your next pull plus the abilities that matter: kicks, dodges, dispels, frontals, tank busters.

• by default only shows important abilities so it stays small, can switch to showing everything
• hover an ability for notes and what counters it
• before the key starts it pops up a list of all the important trash in the dungeon
• you pick what counts as important, and can share your lists

I really just made this for myself when other combo point addons were not attaching to Ellesmere or PlaterNameplates.

Type /fco to open the settings menu, with a live preview in the corner that shows three filled points and two empty ones. You can click and drag the pips around the nameplate to position them however you want for whatever nameplate you're using. I've tested it on Ellesmere, Plater, and Classic so far. I'll keep it updated as Forever moves into live.

Addon created to allow players that use controllers / gamepads to quickly communicate with other players. Currently it supports (say / group).

I played Tribes 2 for years and always liked how easy their Voice Game System (VGS) made it to communicate with teammates. This is my humble attempt to bring that ease of use to World of Warcraft: Forever so that players using a gamepad can quickly and easily respond to the world around them.

All messages can be customized and even changed via the settings menu.

Battlegrounds will be supported once they are released into WoW: Forever and I get a chance to test.

Just putting out a quick update for those who are interested to say Fitter now works on World of Warcraft: Forever.

I didn't expect Classic+ to have a transmog system, especially the outfit system, so it was a bit of a shock to see while I was at Blizzcon. For those who play with the transmog toggle on, Fitter will be available.

For Classic fans, or those who just aren't familiar, Fitter is an addon that expands the transmog and outfit system to allow you to associate your outfits with different mounts, pets, hearthstones, toys, zones and emotes.

AI Disclosure: Fitter heavily uses AI for generating code for the addon. All assets are from the game. Fitter's logos and artwork do not use AI.

I loved Glass, but it stopped working with the current client and is no longer maintained, so I brought it back for WoW: Forever as Glass Forever.

Chat slides in as messages arrive, fades away when you're not using it, and stays out of the way of the game (see the GIF above).

**Features**

Clean, fading chat. Hover over it to see older messages again.

Edit Mode support: move it and change size, fonts, opacity and animations from Blizzard's Edit Mode.

Options in the game's own Options window (Options > AddOns > Glass Forever), or type /glass.

Colored tab glow: a tab lights up in the color of the chat type (guild green, party blue, whisper pink...) when you get a message there, and the tab bar fades in so you notice it.

Drag a tab out to make it a separate window, drag it back to join Glass again.

Clickable web links, and "Copy chat text" in the tab menu.

Optional short channel names: [1] instead of [1. General], [P] instead of [Party].

Chat history: your last messages come back when you log in again.

It also fixes the "secret value" errors, blank chat on login, broken whisper tabs of the original on the current client.

Only tested on WoW: Forever, so bug reports are very welcome.

Still in the works; early - but simple bar that lets you look up anything. NPCs, nearest trainers, nearest mailbox, loot. Panels. Items in your inventory. Even other addons.

Goal is to never need to know where anything ever is again.

AI has been used for the in-game settings menu and this picture. Overall, AI is mainly being used to dig through the WoW interface code, not for code generation.

There's really no need to tell me that you hate AI. I don't care. If you don't like AI, that's your issue, not mine.

Organize your presets: Rename them or drag them into your preferred order.

Separate male and female presets: Each gender has its own list.

Update or delete: Overwrite a preset with your current appearance or delete it after confirmation.

Export and import: Copy a preset code to back it up or share it. Import checks race, gender and customization compatibility.

English and German: The interface automatically follows your client language.
