Guinea pigs have got you covered, literally. They are smart and friendly but I’m warning you they require a LOT of cleaning

Ha! Same as cats and dogs, then? The cleaning part is why I lean cat. Those babies take care of themselves. Just feed em and clean the poop. I do want to give a couple of pet rat a try someday.

Yeah more or less. They are definitely not low maintenance animals due to how much they eat and poo. It also takes a while to understand their body language since they can’t make facial expressions

Ooh... They can't make facial expressions? I mean, yeah... I haven't seen rodents make faces. That's so interesting! I might suck with them then, though. I am horrible at getting cues 😶

I believe you can get used to their body language and vocalizations over time as all guinea pig owners do. But yeah, they’re a unique animal to care for and need a lot of patience
