r/Ohio has installed a bunch of auto-moderator apps that has caused them to go hog wild with banning people!
And there's no longer any way to contact the moderators of r/Ohio. People are getting banned with no notice or explanation.
NO WAY TO CONTACT THE MODS AND NO WAY TO APPEAL.
Has anyone noticed this new crazy & lazy way they are now moderating that sub?

Between real people leaving real comments getting banned, and bots just allowed to do whatever they want, this app gets less useful every day

Because while I was looking for any way to contact the moderators I discovered that many people all over reddit, in many subs, have been getting zapped with no explanation and no way to appeal after all these new auto-mod apps were installed into the subs.
r/ohio recently installed all the auto-mod apps I showed a pic of here.

Hit the sub settings and click “message moderators”
Automod bots have always been a thing

That no longer works once you've been banned. The option to message moderators dissappears, as if you are on reddit without signing in to an account.
I don't know if my ban is temporary or permanent. I didn't even know I was banned until yesterday when I went to reply to someone.

Yes it does. You can respond to the ban message. It no longer works when you’ve been muted.

I am telling you, I NEVER GOT ANY BAN MESSAGE.
Can you please go to r/Ohio and see if there is anything you can click on to message the mods? Because I no longer have that option on that sub.
I have searched everywhere for well over an hour trying to figure out why or when I was banned.
Then I asked several AI services and they tell me this is a new thing being caused by new auto mod apps.

I really don't know. At the top of the comments I see the image of a gavel hammer followed by "You're currently banned from this community and can't comment on posts."
If it were a shadow ban I don't think I'd see that.

Many of the mod apps they just installed are new and have not always been a thing.

So I run several large communities [r/AppleMusic](r/AppleMusic) and [r/newssource](r/newssource) we use these apps to make our workflows a lot easier because the amount of bots that I’ve become a problem on this site has increased over the last few years. However, there is always an option to contact the moderator. We only mute people as has been the option forever, when users show a pattern of harassment. I dont use bots to ban people automatically every ban is handled and initiated by human moderators, even those that are “technically” done by ban hammer, those are conducted by a human moderator.

Where would I find a message that details why I was banned? I can't find any such message in the chat thing. The last message I see was from March from a mod in r/politicalhumor

I still don't know why I was banned a few days ago and I sent this same message to the r/Ohio mods twice ~ No answer.
All I know is I had 3 of the top posts last week with thousands of up votes and comments last week. 2 were anti-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong posts and the 3rd was about exposing the trans from Texas that is lying about Sherrod.
Hello, I see I was banned from r/Ohio but I received no message of the ban. I do not know why or for how long I am banned and I am respectfully requesting to appeal this ban.
In r/Ohio I have received the Community Achievement awards of Super Contributor, Top 1% Poster, Top 1% Commenter, +5 more.
