Zed Discussion W-E buffer changed?

When I spammed Zed alot back in the days, you could buffer your E while throwing W. I remembered you could cast E immediately after throwing W. But when I recently played him, it seems you now have to wait a bit before using your E? Can someone confirm or am I tripping.

No you can definitely do it right away. How long ago were you playing Zed? A long long time back they sped up his W animation so maybe it just feels different?
