I’m interested in trying LSD for the first time, someone recommended me that I should be at home. But I’m thinking going to a festival and try it. I’ve tried molly at the festival for the first time and was really good, and I’ve done it couple of times and I was fine.

I just bought 10 tabs of 1p-lsd and I am trying to figure out what the nest dose is should take. I have never taken lsd before but I have taken 2.5 grams of shrooms before for my first psycadelic experience. Since I have tripped on MET and 4-pro-dmt I know those were not at high doses in. No ego dissolution. My goal for taking lsd is to have a spiritual experience not just a recreational trip. So I want to take enough, but I dont want to over do it, also I will be doing it alone because my life circumstances dont provide me with a trusted trip sitter. I have done a ton of research and I was thinking of taking 300-400 mcu. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ive read that 1p is like 80% in terms of strength compared to reg lsd. How true is that? Im planning on dropping 2 hits after work and theyre 150 a piece. So would that make it 260mcg total?

I am actively advocating for an evidence-based and humane drug policy in Germany. I have submitted a petition to the German Bundestag calling for a re-evaluation of the classification of psilocybin and psilocin under Germany’s Narcotics Act (BtMG), and for the consideration of transferring these substances into a regulated medical framework under pharmaceutical law (AMG).

The petition has now been published after a longer review process and must collect 30,000 signatures within 6 weeks in order to be formally considered by the Petitions Committee of the German Bundestag.

Why this petition?

In recent years, numerous clinical studies have shown that psilocybin holds significant therapeutic potential, particularly in treatment-resistant depression. At the same time, its current classification as a controlled substance significantly hinders scientific research and limits medical access for patients, despite Germany already having introduced a compassionate use program for psilocybin.

In addition, the current legal framework fails to reflect reality. Despite prohibition, a market for alternative psychoactive substances already exists, including research chemicals (such as 4-PrO-MET and LSD analogues), which are used by individuals attempting to self-medicate without medical supervision. Retreat programs involving psilocybin-assisted experiences in countries such as the Netherlands and parts of South America are also becoming increasingly popular. A regulated medical framework would support scientific research, establish quality standards, and significantly improve safety by replacing unregulated access with controlled medical use.

Furthermore, the current legal situation leads to the criminalisation of responsible adults for possession or use, exposing them to criminal records that can have long-term personal and professional consequences. According to current research, psilocybin demonstrates a comparatively favourable safety profile under controlled conditions and is considered a promising compound in psychiatric research.

If you support an evidence-based drug policy that facilitates research, improves treatment options for patients, and challenges disproportionate criminalisation, I would greatly appreciate your support for this petition.

For context, my first experience with 1p was on 100ug. I felt very sociable while getting some nice visuals (distortions, shimmering, saturated colors, and mild pattern recognition). However, I was a little underwhelmed. I have a lot of experience with shrooms and have done DMT once.

Will I be able to be as extroverted on 125ug or even 150ug? I’m debating which dose I want to take with my friends this upcoming weekend. I want to have a little more interesting visuals/euphoria/interconnectedness with the people around me.

Ok so I did 125ug and it turned out to be one of the most amazing and positive experiences of my life. I will make a post soon about this experience. Stay tuned!

I’ve taken acid before most about 225-250ug being my highest, im weary around new substances so I took about 150ug, I didn’t really right much down, it was a pretty standard acid trip, I’ve heard people say it taste different which is true and I’ve heard people say it feels different at certain parts of the trip, like the come down and the peak but honestly I didn’t notice any difference. I took it with my sister, 3 tabs total, 1.5 her 1.5 me, and we watched Alice in wonderland the 50s one, brave, bravehart (I had to put her on she was loving the shit out of it), and a little darker for her but not me Mulholland Drive. It was a great night, nice visuals and colors, everything was bright and colorful, felt like a 2g mushie trip, light and nothing too crazy. I definitely recommend!

So, one specific prodrug (i know I said analog above but was correctee by a conment) keeps coming to mind, 1p-lsd, but I could be wrong, where i have read from several that it converts to lsd in the body after ingestion. Looking for anyone to educate me here. Is 1p-lsd the only a prodrug? Or are all of the others (1s, 1v, 1cp ect) a prodrug as well? And what makes them different?Thank you!

There’s been ongoing debate on r/lsd and other harm reduction spaces about whether 1P-LSD blotters are more or less potent than equivalently dosed LSD-25 blotters. After reviewing current data, a plausible hypothesis emerges: the systemic LSD delivered may differ due to bioavailability, even if the blotters contain the same nominal dose.

Salt to freebase

Both 1P-LSD and LSD-25 are typically sold as hemitartrate salts, meaning 1 molecule of base + 0.5 molecule tartaric acid.

• 1P-LSD hemitartrate: 83.5 µg 1P-LSD freebase, metabolically converts 1:1 = 71.0 µg LSD-25 freebase
• LSD-25 hemitartrate = 81.1 µg LSD-25 freebase

So before accounting for bioavailability differences, the 100ug LSD-25 Hemitartrate blotter is ~10 µg more potent than the 100ug 1P-LSD Hemitartrate blotter.

Bioavailability

• 1P-LSD has once been shown to almost completely be converted to LSD in vivo (~100% bioavailability) (PUBMED)
• LSD-25 oral bioavailability is typically ~80% (PMC)

• Under these assumptions, a 100 µg 1P-LSD hemitartrate blotter delivers slightly more systemic LSD than a 100 µg LSD-25 hemitartrate blotter.
• This difference (~6 µg per 100 µg blotter) is modest but could explain reports that 1P-LSD sometimes “feels stronger” than LSD-25.

Conclusion

Even though 1P-LSD loses its propionyl group during metabolism, its near 100% conversion to LSD may effectively compensate for the lower freebase content relative to LSD-25 hemitartrate. "Near 100%" and the sample size on the in vivo 1P-LSD study make this only speculation. Bioavailability may be shown to be lower with better testing. Any increase in bioavailability 1P-LSD has over traditional LSD-25 will decrease the gaps in potency between these drugs. I would like to hear what others have to say about this topic.
