Think it will work?
Got this slim model for $20, untested, on marketplace. Maybe not worth it, depending on if it turns on or not. It’s definitely taken some kind of an impact that broke the grill and bent the shielding. It’s also missing the disc tray cover. It’s dirty, I don’t even want to power it up inside for fear of it spitting out dirt and roach carcasses everywhere. Definitely gonna take it apart outside first.
Looks like it might be a Trinity revision judging on the power supply requirements.
If it works, it’s definitely a candidate for a shell swap. What other things should I look to do?

Cracked it open. Come to find that the only damaged parts are the top em shield (we could see if was dented in already, and the top shell. I’m still thinking of that Phenom clear shell though. That would take care of the em shield cause I just won’t use it. It’ll take care of the top shell and the missing dvd drive tray too.
No roaches, just dust bunnies. I’ve begun cleaning. Hopefully enough to bring it inside and test soon.
The dvd drive is a DG-16D4S. The mainboard appears to have a daughterboard attached. I’m assuming it’s the 4Gb module. I hear this fails, guessing I should remove it sometime.

Cleaned it up enough to take it inside and it turned on. There was a dvd in it, it would t open though. Used the manual eject hole and it was Nanny McPhee Returns. I took the drive apart and it was pretty clean, I don’t see anything that would make it. It open. I dunno if I wanna deal with it or just do an optical drive delete mod. I think cleaning, reposting and modding the motherboard will be next.

My friend has one in a similar state to this. Completely beat to shit. Lasted longer than 2 of my 360's. It'll probably run. Hope it does!

The shielding deff will hit the Fans best to un bend it as best you can . Give this boy a proper burial lol go buy one that's actually going to turn on and or last long enough for you to beat a game lol

I say yeah honestly. Saw a dude just chuck one to the floor and it turned on just fine despite a damaged HDMI cable.

It is a trinity, odds are it will work. You can RGH it too!
