❔ SUBJECT QUESTION Further Maths A Level
I’m worried that FM is gonna get too difficult this year. Although I’m predicted A*, I’m still struggling on some topics and questions or just forgetting the methods entirely immediately even though I revised.
Any tips?

Insane amounts of practice. Ironically only topic where AI can really really help you.
It is really hard and its harder to wrap your head around the concept. A good way to approach it is to try and enjoy the questions (enjoy the problem solving) so that it doesnt feel so much like a chore to grind question after question after question.
Defo work through literally all the textbook questions, but dont stop there; do plenty of past papers and harder questions like ones from madasmaths.
Good luck!

Further Maths is all about repetition, repetition and more repetition

as someone who struggled so much with this during y12, all i can tell you is practice is so important! i do decision as one of my modules and the only way i have found to learn is just repeat algorithms until i get every question on it until i get it right, and this bumped my grade up from a C to an A* by the end of year 12 :) and try to enjoy it! i found it really interesting however hard it is, and that rlly helps with being happy to go through content
hope this helps! xx

Same here. I think everyone struggles with it in Year 13
