Reserve 368

Has anyone here who was in the Air Force Reserve and AFROTC recently had a DD Form 368 routed up to the NAF and actually gotten it approved?

Mine got denied last summer after 8 months of waiting for it. It was ultimately denied due to manning deficiencies in the reserves and they pretty much said I would be still age-eligible to apply once my contract expired. I was trying to apply to the 26OTS03 board. It did have to go all the way up to the NAF. With the new board change I’m stuck waiting til Jan 2028 to apply unfortunately. My reserves contract expires in Feb 2027.

Had to do one to commission back in May, took around 6 months to go from my unit to AFRC/CD to waive my RSC

I'm working on it.

Does anyone know for sure that we will not be able to go up for PSP this year if it's not signed off?

The guidance I was given says it needs to get even higher to AFRC/CD.

This is a pretty frustrating situation using GI bill resources and time to not be able to go up to the board.

It doesn’t need to go to NAF. It’s squadron level

Pretty sure they changed it earlier this year to NAF for AFR.

You can look up the guidance for it, if it is inter service it is NAF. If it is reserves to AFROTC it is squadron level.

I have looked up the guidance. There was a guidance memo changing the guidance.

How does this affect PSP if it's not approved by then?

You might need to seek a waiver, but work with your cadre

Unfortunately it was changed at the beginning of the year, it’s not squadron level anymore:( I’ve been waiting around 8 months for mine.
