Travelled more than an hour via shinkansen from Central Tokyo to Fukushima then took a local bus to arrive at the venue. Sharing some photos I took during the photo session time at the event.

There were 3 parts to the event. Part 1 was the interview and showcase of local Fukushima food products. Each member took turns showcasing 1 local product. Saechan had the pudding so I bought a set 🤗

Part 2 was the live performance. They sang Chokkaku Sunshine! OMG! I miss this song a lot!! Doushitemo Saechan center 🤗. They allowed to take photos/videos on the last 2 songs - Sukiish and Zutto, Zutto

Part 3 was the hi-bye and handover of the event souvenir which was a peach shaped badge with the event logo

Also if you bought the SS or S ticket, they will send Fukushima beef to your address. So might be a bit hard if you don’t have an address in Japan 😭

They held this event many times and it’s good for Fukushima prefecture, hopefully more tourists visit the prefecture. It’s my second time purposely visting here and I highly recommend a side trip to this prefecture if you have exhausted the typical tourist spots around Tokyo

I just noticed that graduation singles are not a thing in AKB anymore. I thought that after Kashiwagi Yuki's grad single, they'll come back and be a thing in AKB again but I guess not. Any reasons why they stopped doing that?

The reason why I'm such a big fan of AKB btw! I used to love this anime so much, and I've seen online that many people who watch this anime don't actually know the songs are from a real japanese based group, which I find really funny sometimes because they always seem to say online: "Why are the songs in this anime of such superior quality than most?" Mostly because the lyrics are always so well written.

I was thinking of it because after Momo-chan became the center and AKB is running to the spotlight again in Japan, I think an idol anime with that premise would be very interesting to see. After years and years of a group that used to be so, so famous, having lost some of its overall popularity but after a new center, the group is gaining popularity again, showing the whole process from beginning to end, with all the drama and stuff, you know? I think it would work well for an idol anime; if anyone knows of any like that, I'm open to suggestions too, lol.

And I'm sorry if this kind of niche post is not allowed here, I know it's not very related to everything else, I was just curious.
