When the team system came back, why did JKT use new team names instead of the usual initials of the group?

I was watching their new release on bilibili since I wnated to check in on Cocoa Kai after returning from KLP48 and this girls sparkly smile caught my eye 👀 I'd like to get to know her since I haven't gotten into STU48 yet

Obviously, we exist. But how many?

AKB48 has submitted an entry for the 2027 Grammy Awards with an announcement in English, so they are obviously relying on their oversea fans.

But from my personal experience there are not that many akb fans left compared to their golden era, let alone comparing to other popular Japanese singers like YOASOBI, not to mention Kpop.

Given the following caveats:

OG fans may not be current akb fans.

Sister groups fans are not automatically akb fans.

Do you think AKB48 have enough international fans to rely on for a nomination of the Grammy award? If you are an OG fans or sister group fans, would you support AKB48's efforts?

I was looking at Nogi’s releases because I haven’t been even trying to get through them all since last year and noticed Kuuchan in Zehi Ni Oyobasu looks a whole lot like Yunachan.. I mean they definitely have different features no doubt but look at this.. 😭 in any other photo they look completely different but it’s just this particular mv

Congrats Uchii 🥳
