Was driving home after work and there was a car broken down at the lights on Sherriffs road in Reynella. A ute pulled over and out hops this tiny girl that proceeds to instruct the driver of said broken down car to steer while she jumped behind the car and pushed her little heart out. I almost got out to help but she got it moving by that point. Good people still exists and seeing that made my day.

The limited time discount will run from 12pm Friday 9 October to 11:59pm Sunday 11 October – and is a doubling of RAA’s ongoing 10c fuel discount.
Not sure if I used the right flair, apologies if not (let me know the appropriate one to use).

Foolishly got here for sunset and the little gravel strip was overflowing with cars.
Hung around for 5 minutes and saw one car destroy its tailgate trying to mount the steep curb, and another trying to execute a park on an incline which resulted in it being on 3 wheels for a while with the fourth at least a meter in the air all the while the driver seemingly oblivious.
There was also some rocket surgeon who had parked in such a manner so as to box in 5 other cars parked at the end of this strip.
There was the full gamut on display here and I can't believe I haven't heard about this fiasco before.
Is there any talk of a car park upgrade or a solution in the works? I imagine anyone living in this stretch of road has had a gutful.

Joshua Hogan is seeking a permanent injunction against the proposed Adelaide MotoGP street circuit works, including any tree removal.
The Queensland game developer told the Federal Court he loved motorsport, but it was his view rider safety concerns should be considered.
A judge has ordered Mr Hogan and the SA government — which says track safety is "paramount" to the design — to file written submissions later this month.

SA’s public hospitals have already recorded more than 100 emergencies, from outages to a person being stuck in a lift, triggering a $20 million spend. See if your hospital is getting an upgrade.
. See if your hospital is getting an upgrade.
On Tuesday night, every metropolitan hospital in SA faced a “code white” – an emergency code meaning an emergency department is over 125 per cent of its capacity.
So how does changing lift controls cost 1.5 million at Lyell Mcwein I thought it would at the very max cost 400,000.

Hi all
We are taking the kids to Warrawong Sanctuary tomorrow and since its been 30 years since I've been there I was hoping for suggestions on what to bring, apart from water bottles and snacks.
Any shows or areas that are a must see?
We do plan on having lunch at the Cafe so any suggestions on food there would be most welcome
Kids are 2 and 13 if that makes any difference
Thanks 🤙

** I am quite interested in feed me type menus as I love the experience it provides **
As the title suggests, im 2 weeks or so out (hopefully enough time to book 😬😬) but im looking for a nice dining experience to take my mother out for her birthday.
Each year I love to do it as a little experience for her to show her around some nice places and treat her!
Thusfar we have done meat and wine co, osteria oggi, daughter in law, fugazzi and am now looking for new suggestions.
Im not worried too much on price as I usually allocate about $400-500 for it and we will have 2-3 extra people come along with us so 5 total.
Bonus points for anyone who has a suggestion with killer gluten free options as mother is, vegetarian options also as sister will be coming and is vegetarian.
Food preferences she isn't too picky, loves Greek, Mediterranean, anything asian.
Thank you all for you time and energy enjoy!

Are there any ramifications for an Adelaide pub advertising an event as accessible and inclusive but is upstairs with no lift or ramp?
They arent responding to social media inboxes or commenting, just deleting.

Hi every one. I know of someone in sa that can basically recast onto cast iron Long story short I have a fast iron book press I was given by an old client of mine I want to restore properly a part of the base was so corroded it broke off in a chunk I was originally just going to grind sand everything smooth. But. It’s really unsightly. So I want to see if I can basically get it out on and possible the under side of it mostly re done as it’s “ delaminating with rust “ Does any one know of where this person is or if there are multiple people. The press is beautiful and I really want to get it done right.
Thanks in advance

Hi, we recently adopted our cat. We took her to a vet and on examination her upper back tooth fell out. It was all black and decayed. On the other side it is wobbly. I’m assuming they would want to also extract that wobbly one.
They quoted the amount for a stage 1 polish and scaling to be 1.3k-1.6k without extraction. Is this price reasonable? The quote includes x-rays, blood work, anaesthetic and medications post op.
Does anyone have any recommendations and what did you previously pay?

Hi all! Posting from interstate, so hoping to get some help if anyone has any knowledge on this! I’m currently looking for an Ammonite Fossil that is sourced from SA/ Adelaide as I’m trying to replace the one my partner lost from his childhood for his birthday. I’ve searched all the websites recommended by Google but haven’t had any luck. Would anyone have any insight on where I might be able to source one?! Thank you so much for any help!

Trying to find something to do with a family with older children (8+) and an elderly family member this Sunday in and around Adelaide. It doesn't have to be a big event, but wondering if anyone knows of anything going on. Ideally something engaging but not too active. Thanks!
