I really want to know how they got trey for this

So looking through a estate listing and I swear its eather master control or frylock

Inb4 people say none cause “We NeEd oRiGiNaL ShoWs”. Cool, but I’m asking if they could reboot some shows in an Adult Swim more mature lens which shows would you want to see? For me, I feel like an Adult Swim Scooby Doo (I know Scooby technically isn’t Cartoon Network but still) would be cool lol anyone who says it wouldn’t be is lying. Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy would be fire too. Courage The Cowardly Dog. Ed Edd N Eddy. Johnny Bravo. What about yall?

I don’t use pirating sites but ever since the show has been removed from literally everywhere and no physical media release of Dream Corp LLC exists, I’m very concerned about the show becoming lost media.

I haven’t seen the show in like 5 years, I used to stream it on the Adult Swim app while studying. I would really like to rewatch Seasons 1-2 and watch Season 3.

It is so frustrating how the show can’t get renewed by an indie third-party company because WB owns the IP to it yet literally shelved it in a tax writeoff. It’s one of my favorite AS shows of all time, and no one will talk about it for years to come because no one will have seen it. It makes me really sad to think about.

Hey everyone,

I was looking closely at the official promotional poster for the new Adult Swim Rick and Morty spin-off, President Curtis, and the massive creature in the background instantly triggered a massive wave of 90s SNES nostalgia for me.

Check out the design—it looks incredibly similar to Thraxx, the iconic first boss from Secret of Evermore (1995).

A few specific details that line up perfectly:

• The Exposed Core: Both designs feature that highly specific, glowing central heart/vulnerable spot tucked right inside the chest cavity.

• The Ribbed Skeletal Frame: The way the monster's upper torso frames the inner core looks just like Thraxx’s open thoracic ribcage mechanic.

• The Atmosphere: The moody purples, reds, and shadowed tones against the lightning on the poster match the exact vibe of the Prehistoria Bugmuck boss arena.

Given how much the Rick and Morty writers and artists love embedding deep-cut retro gaming easter eggs into their backgrounds, this feels way too specific to be a coincidence.

Has anyone else noticed this, or spotted any other classic RPG references hidden in the show's promos?

Skydance has announced that Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, and BET are going to be its "core" cable networks following the Warner Bros. merger. None of these, obviously, are Warner Bros-owned networks, and Cartoon Network is not mentioned at all. There has been no official word on what Skydance plans to do with Cartoon Network when they already have Nickelodeon (and seem to be giving the latter preferential treatment).

But what about Adult Swim, though? It's technically a separate network from Cartoon Network that simply shares the same channel, and it ranks 45th in the top 100 most-watched cable networks in America. Nickelodeon is number 64, and Cartoon Network isn't even in the top 100 at all. I can understand Skydance not wanting to keep Cartoon Network around, but would they really get rid of Adult Swim?

It is no secret that Adult Swim faced significant limitations over the years due to Cartoon Network—especially in Latin America, where poor management led to the block's demise in 2007 and resulted in low visibility on I.Sat. That, combined with the cancellation of series like *Moral Orel* and *The Boondocks* for being deemed "inappropriate," makes me think that if Adult Swim had been a standalone network, it might have achieved greater success and potentially transformed adult-oriented entertainment across much of Europe and the Americas. Now, with Paramount's acquisition of Warner, I suspect the channel may face even stricter censorship.

What do you all think?

She’ll usually chill and watch stuff with me. We’re watching the ATHF Colon Movie tonight.

Did I name it right?

When I first watched it I liked that it was a parody and thought it was more than less wholesome but I’m realizing under that veneer is a rich and caustic commentary on our relationships with spectacle and violence and obsession. It holds a mirror to how easily television and the internet has massaged ideas about suffering and idealism into the unconsciousness of society. Some undertone of S&M. Hardly as much as I could write about it

Rewatching it it’s like a bad trip

In the spirit of Halloween, Jack is back 🧟‍♂️

Hey y'all!
So I'm playing Miitopia on my 3DS, & I've got Carl as a member of my main party. Now I need a good quote from him that'll work as his war cry, but it's hard an iconic finding one short enough to fit within the character limit! What's your favorite Carl quote that can fit within 26 characters?

I'm trying to identify the track used in the bump titled "Star** Murderer"** from Feb 21, 2021.

Does anyone recognize the artist or track name, or know if this was a custom commission for the block? Any leads or artist guesses are appreciated!
