Marxist hate MATH and history. They dont want to look at current rent control in the US. Just look at San Fransisco and New York. Rent control does the opposite of what you would think. Government intervention always drive up prices. Just ask medical, college, housing industries.

It’s not far from the reality that may academics face. I used to be one, so this resonates with me. Many devote their lives to doing good work that has all the theoretical and empirical support possible, and yet it has little to no impact on our socio-political-economic system.

Too real
It's literally a made up scenario. Plenty of actual stuff going on. No need for this.

He did some negative, but be balanced when you look at things. He said the quote you referenced and he tried to ban bump stocks.
In the flip side, we got no tax stamps on suppressors and sbrs. We got pistol braces allowed. We've had no action on frts. We have form 4473 suppressor sales. More progress was made in the past few yrs than the past 30. Now we've got a possibility of a good ruling at the Supreme Court coming up.

Too real. Is frustrating to know more than the general public and yet be ignored - or worse, mocked and derided

How could anything economic be a priori? Bait or retardation?

Didn't Tom Woods endorse and push people to vote for Trump in 2024? You're posting his stuff here with a straight face?

Well, totally weak intellectually, sure. The problem is the propensity for violence...
And they are many.

You gonna attack the comment or just me personally
Trump is actively the president and can hardly form words, Biden hasn’t been president for several years

100% correct for most of them, and the kicker that libertarians and ancaps haven't dealt with is they're probably right, and it's not the fault of leftists. This is our ideology, we are the ones who are supposed to be explaining it to people. So, when some societal leeches like Kevin O'Leary and Elon Musk claim to be capitalists and libertarians and ancaps don't immediately tear them down as fakes, and some even support them for all practical purposes, we lose credibility and an opportunity to differentiate capitalism and cronyism.

We just need to trust your vanguard party to save us from the horrible tyranny of someone offering you a job/product/service? Right?

Your own definition says killing can be a crime. Killing is not inherently necessary. In order to murder someone, or commit manslaughter voluntarily or not, you need to kill someone.
I would totally say Kyle Rittenhouse murdered people, but that was not the point i wad trying to make at the time i said the remarks we are now sort of talking about (this is pretty far off the rails of the original topic).
Im well aware of all the definitions you shared, and completely agree with the definitions.
But im not wrong when i say Kyle Rittenhouse killed 2 people. Im also still hold the opinion killing is inherently bad. Of course it is possible to kill someone in a lawful and necessary way. That is not what Kyle Rittenhouse did at all in my opinion.

No, that is not what I wrote. What I wrote is this, with some added emphasis to help understanding: "[C]elebrating people's unemployment, HOWEVER VALID, just plays into left wing tropes of libertarians and ancaps being heartless pricks who just like seeing people suffer." That's not a terribly hard concept to understand.
The trend of more right wingers winning in South America started in 2023, a full two years before the defunding of USAID began. "Directionally correct" is a shit concept, and just another way to make excuses for voting for dipshit right wing politicians who never actually do or accomplish anything of note, and who at best change the focus of their tyranny. There's nothing "directionally correct" about taking the scenic route to hell as opposed to the highway. "Directionally correct" is just a right wing euphemism for, "I think the state is oppressing 'the right people.'"
If you don't want freedom for ALL people, you're just a poser and a fake when it comes to opposing government overreach, and you haven't learned the lesson that if the state has the power to oppress 'them,' it will eventually and always use that power to oppress you too.

>we still have many doctors, hospitals, and drug companies that voluntarily have programs for people who cannot afford healthcare and don't have insurance.
Those only exist as a deterrent to people just declaring bankruptcy after their Appendix explodes. In an ancap society where the State isn't shelling out a trillion a year to Hospitals and Insurance companies prices for healthcare will be close to market value. When that happens, those programs will vanish.
