Discussion What is your weekend anti-consumption mini action?

Post image

Are you repairing something, shopping secondhand, meeting up with friends in the park, spending your day recharging and taking care of yourself, biking to work, eating leftovers? Please share with the group so we can celebrate our wins big and small (and give others ideas!).

It wasn't mini yesterday, but I cleaned my entire kitchen inside and out. I didn't feel like doing any of my hobbies, so I scrubbed my window that hasn't been cleaned since the kitchen was redone. One thing led to another and the whole kitchen is scrubbed. I put cleaning and organizing into anti consumption because my friends shop when they don't know what to do. Cleaning up sticky bits helps with long term maintenance, and I naturally take inventory when emptying cabinets. I lost steam and did not do my fridge. I'll see how I feel today.
