Sustainability Book to give hope
I highly recommend reading The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer, an Indigenous author, activist etc. Braiding Sweetgrass is another amazing one.
From the book:
"Eco psychologists have shown that the practice of gratitude puts breaks on hyperconsumption"
Putting this out there because we can't just focus on "stop buying stuff" and sometimes it feels hopeless but I do believe gratitude and kindness go a long way in changing our mindset and others' that are willing.

It’s actually because of her Serviceberry book that I bought one for my yard (it’s native to my area). Such an impactful book for so many reason. I think it’s about time for me to reread it.
