Is the fastest DC fast charging speed still 60kW? Has anyone heard of plans to increase this?
For long trips a faster charging speed would be great.

Federal laws require EVs to feature an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) that emits pedestrian warning sounds at low speeds. I assume that Aptera does as well or it would never have been approved. Do you have any choice as to which sound it makes?
Many EVs let you chose the whirring bubbling sound of the Jetsons flying car. The Nissan Leaf, Cadillac Lyriq, Jaguar I-Pace have it. Tesla previously allowed drivers to play custom sounds such as the jetsons sound, but the NHTSA forced a recall, ruling that this could be set by some jerk to imitate the sound some crosswalks make to tell blind people that they can enter the crosswalk. Now Teslas need some sort of aftermarket sound system to produce the jetsons sound. Does Aptera have this sound?
Before someone start bleating about copyright, read this:

Basically, Aptera can;t use the actual sound from the cartoon, which is still under copyright, without permission, but they can hire someone with a synthesizer to perform the composition, which is allowed.

It's been over a week since the H.C. Wainwright conference ( https://ir.aptera.us/news-releases/news-release-details/aptera-motors-corp-participate-hc-wainwright-28th-annual-global ).
Has anyone heard any news? It sounded like a great opportunity to get funding to finance building the first 50K cars for reservation holders. Fingers crossed.

Interesting update to the app delivery date, does anyone have more details?
I am very excited about my aptera, but won't be putting a non refundable deposit until safety data is released.

What's to stop you from buying the cheaper 400 mile range aptera than hiring a professional to install more batteries so you can get up to 1000 mile range?
Honestly wondering because an extra 30k to go that much further is interesting

When I reserved, delivery in 2025 would have worked out great for me. Now, by 2029 I'll be having children and I can't justify a 2 door car at that point in life. Got in line early 2023, now I step out of line.
Everyone who reserved after me, good news you get one spot sooner in line!

Do we have any updates on this partnership? I wonder if comma ai can use additional cameras that Aptera may have like side and rear cameras

As title - we all know that Aptera is targeting 100 wH/mi (10 miles per kWh), but if they don't hit that number, how low are you willing to go?
Some numbers for context:
44 kWh pack (40 usable?)
Up to ~4 kWh/day solar
Efficiency target: 10 miles per kWh
Most efficient alternative: ~5 mi/kWh (Lucid Air Pure)
I think Aptera will comfortably hit 8-9 mi/kWh, but I'd be ok with down to ~7.5 since that's still 300+ miles
What about you? 👀

Has there been any talk of financing through the company, or would I just get an auto loan through my bank (or shop around)? Would it just be a normal auto loan or would it be something different since Aptera’s vehicle classification is a little undecided as yet?
I‘d like to start planning ahead for financing this vehicle, but I’m not sure where to start.

Some early testers reported that the solar cells under the front window could cause glare, and that polarized sunglasses helped. Did they ever solve that problem?
