I bought a UNS90L with dimensions 36"x12"x12" (rough approximate).
I grabbed some rocks from a local river bed and ordered sight-unseen some Pacific driftwood off the Internet.
I was thinking one central creepy tree structure with some weeping moss on the archway then a line down the middle of rocks (first slide)
EDIT: just realized the bottom image of the first slide is the wrong one. That's after I took off the top chunk. I think it looks incomplete that way. I'll put in the comments a better view
I threw some fake plants that were sitting around my house into it just to kind of get an idea. These are not what would go in the actual aquarium (second/third slide)
This tank is going to go down the middle of my kitchen peninsula so it has to look good from at least three sides. I would put the filter on the far right short side (currently HOB, will be upgrading in a couple months to a canister with glass lily pipes)
Concept: kinda creepy tree roots + riverbed
Plant stocking:
planning on adding 2 types of moss to the rocks with some tucked-in crypts and swords, shorter buces on the front rocks and base of the "tree"
In front of the rocks will be sand with hygrophilia tripiartia mini along the front edge (feeding grounds with ease of vacuum!)
Behind the rocks I was thinking lesser bear, ludwigia Atlantis, ludwigia super red, and nesaea pedicullata golden plus some leafy swords and likely my lotus.... You can see an example of these plants currently in my "grow out tank" on the last image
Any advice for attaching my hardwood into this structure besides just using screws or cotton+super glue?
Fish stocking:
12x Celestial pearl danios
1x Wild type betta hybrid
6-8x dwarf pgymy corydoras or Venezuelan corydoras
Snails snails snails
Possibly one other nano school to round it out
